An Phan, SVP of Lending Products & Operations
An is the SVP of Lending Products and Operations at Versara and Peerform. In this role, An manages aspects of the lending products and their profitability. An joined Versara from Citigroup, where he served as Vice President of Consumer and Small Business Lending. He has over 17 years of experience driving significant revenue growth through new product launches, process re-engineering and targeted customer acquisition and retention strategies. He has led the development and execution of new lending growth initiatives, including end-to-end management of new product launches, digital enhancements, sales activities, and services in key distribution channels. Prior to Citigroup, An was Product Analytics and Strategy Manager in the Consumer Products Group, U.S. Pharma Distribution, at McKesson Corporation. Previous to his role at McKesson, An served in a number of functional areas at Wells Fargo & Co., most recently as directing marketing and product manager in Business Direct Lending. An earned a BA from Hampshire College, where he was named a Harold F. Johnson Scholar, and an MBA from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California.
Mikael Rapaport, Co-Founder, SVP of Lending Markets & IT Infrastructure
Mikael is the Co-Founder and SVP of Lending Markets and & IT Infrastructure at Peerform. Mikael works closely with the entire team to manage Peerform’ lending products. Mikael’s role involves fundraising, compliance and technology project management. Mikael held previous positions at Cantor Fitzgerald, ICAP North America and Bear Stearns in Credit Derivatives Structuring. Mikael holds a Master of Financial Engineering degree from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.
Abigael Saal, Director of Lending Technology
Abigael is the Director of Lending Technology at Peerform. Abigael joined Peerform in Fall 2013 and has been overseeing all IT functions connected to lending including application development, infrastructure, security and design. She has an extensive background in IT and management consulting including experience in optimization and workflow process management. Abigael holds a Masters’ degree from École Polytechnique, the most prestigious engineering university in France.
Catheryn Robinson, Director of Capital Markets Business Development
Catheryn has over 20 years of capital markets experience working with hedge funds and institutional investors finding solutions for investing, financing, and hedging needs utilizing cross asset derivatives and structured products. Catheryn joined Peerform in 2014 and is responsible for institutional investor relations. Prior to Peerform, Catheryn spent a decade helping businesses grow through capital raising for emerging managers and strategic human capital acquisition for global financial institutions and alternative investment management firms. Previously, Catheryn was with HSBC with a mandate to help build equity derivatives and structured products distribution and marketed Emerging Market cross asset derivatives to hedge funds for Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, and Peregrine. Catheryn began her capital markets career as a market maker trading foreign exchange with JP Morgan based in Tokyo and New York. Catheryn graduated from the University of San Francisco with a B.S. in Accounting.
Mo Cheng, Director of Risk & Data Analytics
Mo is the Director of Risk and Data Analytics in Peerform’s lending business. In this role, Mo is responsible for credit risk management and analytics for several credit programs and portfolios. These duties include development and oversight of credit underwriting criteria and pricing strategy. She is also responsible for establishing an effective risk control framework that facilitates data-driven decision making and calibration of credit policies. Mo joined Peerform in Q1 2016, where she led the development of a new credit underwriting system, including machine learning credit risk scoring model and risk-based pricing. Having worked at major financial institutions, including American Express and Citi, Mo brings on board business acumen, as well as her expertise in consumer lending credit risk management. She holds a MS in Statistics from Stanford University, and MBA from ESSEC Business School.
Sean Barravecchio, Lending GC & Compliance Officer
Sean is responsible for managing Peerform’s legal and compliance program for lending. He ensures that the company maintains all current compliance standards in a fast moving legal and regulatory landscape. Sean brings a robust understanding of financial services compliance matters developed as a compliance professional at major financial institutions, where he worked on compliance matters related to AML, TF, BSA and OFAC. Prior to Peerform, Sean worked at JPMorgan, where he performed ongoing compliance monitoring of high-risk client accounts across the firm’s Corporate & Investment Banking, Asset Management and Commercial Banking lines of business. Sean holds a J.D. from Touro Law School and is admitted to practice law in the State of New York.
